Glass is a handy item to have in Minecraft. This decorative block lets through the light without letting anything get to you. You can use your glass to make a greenhouse safe from the threats of nighttime or turn it into stained glass decorations and potion bottles.

You can gather some glass at the seashore or near a water body. once you find some glass you can break it with the help of a shovel. Once you dig a sufficient amount of sand you can make a furnace and with some coal, you can smelt the sand. After some time, the sand will melt to become glass. After you have sufficient glass, you can start building a glass wall for your house. You can fill a small amount of your house with glass. If you don’t have enough glass, you can place a crafting table and then make it into a glass pane.

Glass panes are just made to save some glass as you get 16 glass panes when you insert 6 glasses into the crafting table. After that, you can place the glass wherever you like in your house. If you want your house to look more colorful you can use a dye. To obtain a dye all you need is to pluck a flower and insert it into the crafting table. For example: - If you pluck a red color flower (Poppy) you will obtain red dye. After that, you can put all the glass panes into the crafting table with the dye. Now you have received a “Stained Glass Pane”. A stained glass pane is just a more colorful glass pane.
